The Association operates a garden maintenance scheme that is designed to assist tenants that are elderly or who have a disability to keep their gardens tidy during the growing season.

Whilst the scheme is subsidised by Shire Housing there is an annual cost to tenants wishing to participate in the garden maintenance programme, details of which can be obtained by contacting the Association.

To participate in the garden maintenance scheme you should be -

• Over retirement age

or

• Have a disability that prevents you from maintaining your garden

and

• Have no other person within your household that can assist with maintaining your garden

The Association reviews the list of participants on an annual basis and the availability of the scheme is advertised in the organisations newsletter.
