  David is responsible for the operation of the Housing Management Section with Shire Housing Association. He and his team of four Housing Officers provide a wide range of services to customers including
  

  • Managing and enforcing tenancy conditions
  • Tenant consultation and participation
  • Looking after the environment within estates
  • Allocating houses to new tenants

  Barbara’s principal area of responsibility is around securing the financial foundations for all of our business activity. She leads the budget and planning process to ensure we can meet our commitments to tenants, lenders and partners and can progress as a sustainable local social enterprise. Supported by a Finance Officer, key responsibilities include:
  

  • Long term planning
  • Managing our day to day finances
  • Meeting financial regulations and proper accounting procedures
  • Managing risk and providing assurance for our Board

  Lynn’s principal area of responsibility is around the quality of our housing stock and property maintenance services. She also plays a lead role in ensuring that quality standards are achieved across all service areas. Along with the Repairs Administrator and Clerk of Works the Operations Team provides a wide range of services to customers including
  

  • Delivery of housing investment programme
  • Repair service delivery
  • Medical Adaptations
  • Dealing with property alterations
  • Rechargeable repairs

  Charles is the lead officer for the East Ayrshire Council’s Care & Repair service which is managed by Shire. He works closely with housing, health and social work colleagues to deliver Care & Repair to older or disabled owner occupiers. Specific services include
