Madeleine is responsible for supporting the Board in setting the strategic direction for our work and for leading the staff team.
Her focus is around:
Planning and policy development – to ensure we can react to a changing policy environment and progress as a sustainable social enterprise.
Organisational design – to ensure we are fit for purpose and able to deliver the quality of service our Board aspires too.
Building business relationships and partnerships - which ensure that our work nests effectively within local community planning arrangements and delivers maximum benefit.
David is responsible for the operation of the Housing Management Section with Shire Housing Association. He and his team of four Housing Officers provide a wide range of services to customers including
Barbara’s principal area of responsibility is around securing the financial foundations for all of our business activity. She leads the budget and planning process to ensure we can meet our commitments to tenants, lenders and partners and can progress as a sustainable local social enterprise. Supported by a Finance Officer, key responsibilities include:
Lynn’s principal area of responsibility is around the quality of our housing stock and property maintenance services. She also plays a lead role in ensuring that quality standards are achieved across all service areas. Christie is responsible for the operation of the Development & Contracts section. He also plays a lead role in Health & Safety for Shire Housing Association. Along with the Clerk of Works and the Clerical Officer, the Development & Contracts Team provide a wide range of services including
Charles is the lead officer for the East Ayrshire Council’s Care & Repair service which is managed by Shire. He works closely with housing, health and social work colleagues to deliver Care & Repair to older or disabled owner occupiers. Specific services include
